Since June of last year (2015), Kedar has been taking his joy for programming to multiple Maker Faires across the East Coast. He received much encouragement and support from grown ups and kids alike who participated in coding events at his booth. Their encouragement, particularly from an adaptive services Librarian from the DC Govt Library inspired him to solve a real life problem using code. He created a 3D code board game called Storibot. His game has tactile code pieces that the visually challenged community can use to learn programming. Kedar’s efforts won him the Young Inventor Challenge, in the junior category, at Chicago Toy and Game Fair in Nov 2015. Watch him explain his invention to Mr. Steve Harvey on NBC at the Little Big Shots Week event on April 25, 2016.
